ALBANY, NY, February 3, 2022 – BST & Co. CPAs, LLP, one of the Capital Region’s leading accounting and management consulting firms, today announced that Steven Caiazza has been named a manager in its Valuation, Forensic Accounting, and Litigation Support (VFL) Department.
Caiazza joined BST & Co. in 2016 as an analyst within the VFL department and was promoted to senior analyst three years later. He currently manages some of the firm’s most complex and technical valuation engagements. He has extensive experience in preparing valuations of privately held businesses, including venture capital and start-up enterprises, hedge fund, private equity fund and other asset managers, as well as equity-based compensation vehicles such as stock options, restricted stock units, and profits interests. Caiazza has prepared valuations in connection with litigation matters, for succession planning, gift/estate planning, and a transaction advisory capacity. He also performs forensic accounting services in connection with litigation matters and on behalf of insurance companies, assisting them in managing and evaluating claims.

Caiazza is a certified valuation analyst (CVA) as well as a certified fraud examiner (CFE). He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany, with a concentration in Finance, and he is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
