Despite significant achievements in the traditional accounting field, Kristen’s ambition and drive pushed her to take her career once step further with the founding and development of a new division at BST & Co. Virtual Accounting Solutions is a first-of-its-kind service in the Capital Region marketplace that offers customized, scalable and real-time financial reporting and advanced operational accounting in a virtual environment. As more businesses look to outsource their accounting needs in a new remote world, Kristen has been there to lead them into the future.

Since launching the Virtual Accounting Solutions division of BST & Co. five years ago, Kristen has led the service line to exponential growth in a short period – and is on track to exceed $1 million in annual revenue for the first time this year. Her current client list includes a range of major brands and companies throughout New York state, as well as non-profits, museums, local municipalities, and professional service firms. As a virtual service, she also works with clients in Texas, Georgia, and Missouri. Virtual Accounting Solutions this year was designated as a vendor of choice for a well-known franchise. Kristen is actively hiring to accommodate the influx of new business. She is an acknowledged industry leader who has been recognized by the Albany Business Review and The Saratogian.

Kristen has over 25 years of experience in public accounting and a deep understanding of advanced operational accounting, businesses processes, and workflows to make managing the financial process more efficient. Kristen is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant with a background in tax and has extensive experience in the wholesale distribution, manufacturing, construction, and professional services industry.
